INTRODUCTION
The Welding Federation is delighted to acknowledge the full fledge induction of Ghana Welding Bureau (GWB) into TWF’s Africa Welding Community. GWB established in 2021, is an autonomous non-profit professional institute created under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and the Petroleum Commission, Ghana through the Accelerated Oil and Gas Capacity Building Program (AOGC) of the Government of Ghana.
GWB’s membership reinforces the awakening and reinforcement of Africa’s welding community commitment to aggregate capacity in building and deploying integrated solutions to increase value creation from welding activities in Africa.
GWB’s was established to oversee the development of the welding industry in Ghana and provide certified and internationally trained welding professionals for the oil and gas industry and other sectors of the economy.
